"The Pizza Song"
My first song was composed in the shower. I grabbed my iPhone and recorded many of the words for Not Like Pizza and kept singing in the shower, afraid to move to another location for fear of losing the song.
It took some professional help from Nathan to get the structure and chords right - I was so new to music, I didn't even know how to figure out chords I was singing. Then, I asked my musician friends to help host a coming out party for the song, printed out invitations with the help of Vistaprint and Voila! my first song! We recorded the song in Nathan's basement where The Scarlet Verbs still hold practice sessions. NOW: July, 2015 available in stores with the help of DistroKid! I like that the song has a nickname and never considered changing the official name even though anyone who requests it (usually people under 4 feet) always asks for "The Pizza Song." My brother Mike put it on YouTube with old family pictures from the Gasman family. Click! |

School
I work as a school psychologist and Nathan and I performed for a number of classrooms. I still have kids asking for the pizza song when they see me. WATCH this Short clip from our performance in school.

FAmilyThere are six siblings and my parents are still alive. We often jokingly fought over who my parents loved the most - the theme for the Pizza song is that love is limitless - there's always enough to go around.

PsychologyI work with children and teachers. My songs seem to flow from that background.
I also apply learning principles to help me make quick progress in learning music and expanding my abilities. |
